As with any sport, competition, or physical activity, rules are crucial to ensure safety and security in the competitive environment. All players will be expected to adhere to the following rules:
Rule #1
Laser Tag is a non-contact sport! Any contact with another player is grounds for removal from the game and a possible ban from future games. There is no reason to infringe on another player’s personal space, respect their “personal bubble” and they will respect yours.
Rule #2
Sportsmanship is an essential part of a fun and safe laser tag experience. All verbal and nonverbal communication between players must be positive in nature. Any kind of offensive or derogatory language is grounds for removal from the game and a possible ban from future games. Your experience will be much more enjoyable if you congratulate opponents on impressive feats, this will contribute to an overall positive competitive environment.
Rule #3
In the spirit of Rule #2, players must keep their headbands on and sensors visible to opponents at all times. Any deliberate covering of sensors is considered cheating and will be treated as such, resulting in removal from the game and a possible ban from future games. Keep the games fun and fair and everyone will benefit!
Rule #4
Players must keep both hands on their tagger at all times. Keeping both hands on the tagger ensures that players do not drop the equipment or stick it out past a barrier, possibly striking another player.
RULE #5
Rulings from the Apex Lase Tag game master or staff are final and not up for negotiation. Our job is to keep everyone safe and maintain a positive laser tag environment. All of our actions are based around those two principles.
